Sign on the actual page
The document is rendered exactly as it will print, so you place your signature on the real page rather than a stand-in. Drag it to reposition, pull the corner to resize, and add as many as you need across as many pages as you need.
Draw it, type it or upload it
Draw with a mouse, trackpad or finger and pick the ink colour and thickness. Or type your name in one of three styles. Or upload a photo of a signature you already have — the white paper behind it can be keyed out so only the ink lands on the page.
Frequently asked questions
- Is a signature added this way legally binding?
- In many countries a clear intention to sign is enough for everyday agreements, and an image of your signature is widely accepted. It is not a cryptographic digital signature, so for contracts with formal certification requirements check what your jurisdiction asks for.
- Is my document uploaded anywhere?
- No. The PDF is opened, drawn on and saved entirely inside your browser. Nothing is transmitted, which matters rather a lot for a document you are signing.
- Can I sign more than one page?
- Yes. Move between pages with the arrows or the thumbnail strip and place a signature on each one. Pages you have already signed are marked in the strip.
- Can I use a photo of my handwritten signature?
- Yes. Choose Upload and pick the image. Leave "Drop the white background" ticked and the paper is keyed out, so only the ink is placed on the page.
